The EC10SBS offers a low cost, high performance, maintenance free air compressor. Engineered with efficient air delivery and convenience in mind. Demonstrating effective air delivery, the EC10SBS supplies 3.5 cfm at 90psi. With overload protection, this 1.5 hp pancake air compressor boasts a 14-amp direct drive motor that runs at 3,450 rpm and provides 8.2 cfm of free air. The pancake style tank has a capacity of 3.3 gallons and the pressure switch has a start/stop control of 90/120 psi with an impressive recovery time of 14 seconds. Convenient and portable at a mere 46.5 lbs. The high output, oil-less pump allows for minimal maintenance. Further facilitating operational use, the o-ring on the draincock makes the valve easy to open and close. Includes a line regulator and gauges.

I use this compressor with a brad nailer and it has all the capacity I need. It is light and easy to move, but is vulnerable to damage from bumps and rough treatment. A protective cage would be helpful if it is going to be transported a lot, but this would add to its weight and bulk. It is not excessively noisy, and is compact and easy to store when not in use. All this for a reasonable price.

Light and somewhat quite, it suits my small shop needs just fine. An added bonus to this compresser is that it now has two hp instead of one and a-half and the purchase price is the same. Seems well built.
