I noticed a significant performance improvement in my Sony PCG-GRT250P after upgrading to this 7200 rpm drive. The previous drive was a 40gb 4200rpm. I'd recommend the upgrade to anyone with an older laptop needing to increase storage space and performance.

Cloned the 60GB drive that came in my Dell Inspiron 9300 (this exact model) and it is running flawlessly. This would be a good drive to upgrade to especially if you are using a 5400 rpm drive now. This one is 7200 rpm and you can definitely notice the speed increase and/or difference from a 5400 rpm drive. I would highly recommend this drive for your Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop or any other models that it is compatible with.

I cloned a 60GB system drive to this drive and swapped it into the laptop. Working just fine.
