Hitachi's new clipped head framer offers a selective trigger for non-bump fire nailing while maintaining all of the industrial grade quality of the NR83AA2. The firing system housing and rail are unchanged from the trusty NR83AA2. Lightweight (8.4 pounds) and well balanced for easy maneuverability, this 3-1/4-inch nailer fires through a day of framing without wearing out your wrists. A versatile driving port is designed to host a wide range of nails for optimal versatility. A rear-loading magazine is improved for quick nail replenishment and less downtime. An innovative, open-nose design means easy extraction of the truly rare jammed nail. And, a soft rubber grip offers more comfort and better control. The nailer’s hardened claw tip reduces wear and limits slippage when driving at a slanted angle. A selective actuation trigger (ANSI compliant) allows transition from single actuation to contact actuation for optimal versatility. Best of all, with a fire rate of 3 nails per second, your sure to get that framing job done fast!

When I ordered the gun I was led to believe it would take the nails that I normally used in my old gun. To my surprise the nails would not load. Sent the gun back I have several boxes of good nails to use up. In today economy can no afford to discard the nails.
