The Hitachi NT65GS is Hitachi's newest cordless 16 gauge straight finish nailer. The Hitachi NT65GS is powered by a gas fuel rod and Lithium battery for complete portability. Freedon from cumbersome air hose and a compressor saves time in setup, during applications, and in jobsite clean up. The Hitachi NT65GS is lightweight at only 4 pounds for balance, maneuverability and minimal user fatigue. The Hitachi NT65GS is ideal for overhead and extended use applications. The Hitachi NT65GS features a double action nail feed and reciprocating piston system to drive up to 2 nails per second or 1,000 nails per hour. The Hitachi NT65GS is equipped with a quick clear nose with tool-less jam release for easy maintenance and reduced downtime. A double lock fuel compartment latches securely and keeps the fuel rod seated firmly, while the Hitachi 3.6volt Lithium Ion battery drives up to 2,000 fasteners on a single charge. The Hitachi NT65GS has a low battery indicator to prevent unexpected downtime and when it is time to charge your batteries the Hitachi NT65GS comes with a 1-hour AC/DC charger that can charge from a wall socket or a car. The Hitachi NT65GS features a tool-less depth of drive adjustment as well as a detachable no-mar nose cap to protect work surfaces.

I bought this finish nailer for convience. Have 9 Hitachi N65 pnumatic finish nailers and they are the best all around period.
So, I figured I'd stick with Hitachi for cordless.
Received the gun and charged both batteries. put in a battery and fuel cell.
Tried to shoot gun...nothing!! Frustrating because I was going to use it on the job that day. Took it by my certified repair center friend. He looked at it and shook his head...right off the bat said they weren't as reliable as Paslode. He tried another fuel cell...nothing!! NO noise, fan, nothing. Its too bad Hitachi
dissappointed me with this nailer... UPS is picking it up tomm. I am still looking for a cordless nailer and am leaning towards a Paslode
