This Hitachi P50X01A 50" Multi-System LCD TV is designed to receive and display all Analog television broadcasts following NTSC - PAL - SECAM Standards around the world. This set does not have a built-in ATSC Digital TV Tuner and, therefore, will not be compatible for Digital-TV reception. Digital-TV will be a standard adopted in the USA after 2/17/2009 and this TV will not receive over-the-air reception without an Optional external converter box. This set does not include a Hitachi USA warranty.
The P50X01A from Hitachi is a full featured 1080p plasma multi-system TV with a high-contrast (10,000:1), super-bright (1,100cd/m2) display that will complement any room's decor. This display uses Hitachi's Picture Master Full image processor for clear, rich imagery with 3 Dimensional Digital Color management for exceptional vibrant colors.
