TV died after two years. It has been in the shop waiting for parts from Hitachi for 6 months. Hitachi calls me weekly to tell me the part is not in yet and there is no estimate on the arrival date. One plus is that if the part ever is found Hitachi will pay for it even though it was two months out of warranty.
