Best 9.6 impact driver,
By Hawaii Plumber "You can't see my crack....." (Honolulu, HI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hitachi WH9DMR 9.6-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Impact Driver (Tools & Home Improvement)
I'm a Plumbing Contractor in Hawaii. My Dewalt 18v impact driver was starting to get heavy while working under sinks and in cabinets. In search of a lighter 9.6v, I tried the Dewalt (half a pound heavier than the rest of the 9.6v), a Bosch (feels like a toy and the motor runs rough like it has bad bearings), a Makita (pretty good but too costly just for the Nmh batteries), then the Hitachi...the motor spins very smooth, I love the belt hook (only brand with the hook), definitely the best bang for the buck.
