These guys are as refreshing as a crisp spring morning. If you like a blend of funky rock and alt country they're for you. Personally I think they should be heard the world over ....and really wish they'd tour the UK.

Funky Nashville has a refreshing new sound. I first heard them on XM Raido and wrote their name down on an envelope and found the Hitch a Ride CD later on Amazon.Com.

This CD is a treasure if you are into music that is fun. When your with someone and the CD is playing, you will find yourself saying "I really like this one" when 4 or 5 of the songs start playing.

As I popped the Funky Nashville?s new album, Hitch a Ride, into my CD player I was slightly hesitant; expecting some sort of crazy country album. As the first track Hitch a Ride blared through my speakers, I was pleasantly surprised to hear something of a mix of Skynyrd meets Johnny Cash. I
suddenly felt like I should be in the 50's style Jack Rabbit Slims (out of Pulp Fiction) dancing with Uma Thurman. It's refreshing to hear a foreign twist on the traditionally American art form!!
