The song that "Albert" dances to is "Yeah!" by Usher from the Confessions album. Notice it is NOT on this soundtrack.

Missed Usher, but good soundtrack,

Loved the movie and the music. The soundtrack is good, but I was very disappointed not to have Usher's "Yeah" on the soundtrack - the dancing scene is one of the best parts of the movie for goodness' sake! Oh well, still a good CD.

I was very disappointed that the songs on this album were not a comprehensive list of the songs that I saw in the movie. It's a compilation of mediocre songs. Big disappointment.

Actually a really good Soundtrack.,

I find myself constantly listening to this soundtrack. Hitch was a funny & upbeat movie, and so is the soundtrack. It features Amerie, John Legend, Omarion, and some great old school sounds by the elements Earth Wind & Fire, The Temptations, and the O'Jays. A lot of the more contemporary songs on the album are remakes (like John Legend's, and Omarion's) but even they are great.
STANDOUT TRACKS: Amerie - One Thing: Generally, I'm not a fan of Amerie, but this is such a fun song to listen to. The vocals aren't exactly top notch, but this is a great track to dance to. John Lengend - Don't You Worry Bout a Thang: A great remake of a Stevie Wonder classic. Though John Legend is no Stevie, he does an AMAZING job covering the track. The Temptations - I Can't Get Next to You: I'm sure you've all heard this one. Mark Ronson - Ooh Wee: Another fun track. Features Ghostface Killah & the classic Nate Dogg. This again samples an older song ; but this is still a fun song to listen to. This is a soundtrack that you can really listen to from beginning to end without skipping. I suggest you pick it up.

Good Soundtrack...,

What does mixing classics with hip hop have to do with this soundtrack? Crooklyn, Dead Presidents both had hip hop mixed with the classics. That's like saying don't put out a cd with real hip hop and the rap of today aka (...). This soundtrack paced the movie very well. I'd buy it in a flash!

Terrible soundtrack,

Run, don't walk, AWAY from this soundtrack as fast as you can, unless you're under 20. At the very least, sample the songs on Itunes (as I did) first. With 1 or 2 exceptions, the songs are mediocre new stuff no one would ever buy or cover versions that suffer by comparison with the original. Most of the songs we liked best in the movie are NOT here and what is here would never register in a person's memory after the credits roll. This confirms that soundtracks are marketing ploys that bear little or no relation to their film vehicle.
Don't waste money on this!!

This has all the great songs from the movie. I see people complaining that it dosnt have the song "Yeah" by usher, but who cares? It's not even a great song, and you can easily find it online for free. If you're getting this soundtrack just for a song like that, then your crazy. It has some of the best R&B classics out there, plus some others.
