This is much better than I expected. I mean, I always liked these guys, but they've come a long way since their "pop punk" days. I'd call this 50s influenced power pop, or maybe just punk rock n' roll. Think Ramones, Buddy Holly, Beatles, and Smoking Popes. Smart, catchy songs with really good harmonies. Straight retro stuff like "Rock and/or Roll" is awesome, but the real hits are the pop songs, like "I Only Sing for Me" and "Arthur and Tricia." I hesitate to say that the band has "matured," but they've refined their sound, and the results are impressive.

This CD is totally one of my favorites. These guys totally rock. They are a must see live act and their music is totally infectious..I can't get enough ; )
