I ordered this as a spare, so I thought I wasn't to concerned about anything as long as it worked. When it arrived, I found I was more picky than I realized. The male end that inserts into the camera has significant visible rust (see picture on listing). Although I could have removed the visible rust, I was concerned that there might be rust inside the connector that would contaminate the receptacle on my camera, so I have returned it to Amazon.

A co-worker has a similar Canon camera and she can never find her cord to download her photos to her PC. I gave her mine. The replacement is a different color than that of the manufacturer but it works perfect.

Great product and very prompt shipping.

I lost the USB cable that came with my camera, so I purchased this one as a replacement. The cable arrived quickly & in good shape, and it works just like my original. My only complaint is that shipping was $5 for a lightweight part that cost less than $1.

I lost/misplaced the USB cable for my Canon camera while house renovation was going on. Searched online for a replacement & found Amazon offered what I needed at an amazingly low price -- plus FREE SHIPPING! The price was much lower that anywhere else on the internet. The replacement cable arrived very quickly after I placed my order, and works perfectly.

P.S. I eventually found the old USB cable -- but I'm happy that I now have two of them.

This cable works just as well as the one that came with the camera and the price was unbelievably low. I am very pleased with it.

I lost my original cord that came with my camera. I bought this latest usb cord in order to connect my camera to my pc and it works like it's suppose to. No complaints!

.......easy and fast! I prefer this way rather than inserting the chip directly into my computer. It is small enough to carry with me in my little camera bag, too.
