This Hitech 3-hour quick charger is great for gadgets such as wireless mice / MP3 players / Digital Cameras. It charges 2000mAh AA battery in 2.8 hours and 2400mAh AA battery in 3.5 hours. An indicator light comes on and the charger automatically switches to trickle charge mode upon completion of charge. This protects against over-charging, keeps batteries safe and fully charged. It can charge AA / AAA Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries. The charger also detects when a battery is bad or is not chargeable. The package comes with a charger, adapter, car adapter, and a four-pack of Yuasa EniTime AAA Ni-MH 800mAh (750 mAh minimum) batteries + clear battery case(s). These batteries come pre-charged to 80% and ready to use, and have an extremely low self-discharge rate, similar to Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Charger is sealed in plastic clam shell packaging and is an excellent gift for the holidays. Charging Current: AA 1000mA, AAA 500mA, trickle charge 100mA for AA, 50mAh for AAA.
