it is versatile but for most batteries I prefer my radio shack non battery operated meter as the battery is easier to insert... minor point

Have a good number of rechargeable batteries and didnt know if all of them were still taking full charges. So when I saw this checker on the Web decided to give it a try and am glad I did. I use it all the time to check both rechargeable and regular batteries. Save a lot of time and have disposed of a number of batteries.
