I ordered this TV during the Black Friday weekend sales on Amazon. I figured this must have been a misprint...A 37" 1080p LCD television for $219 with free shipping? Sounds too good to be true, right? Wrong. I had the TV shipped to my local FedEx and picked it up this evening. Yes, the audio leaves something to be desire but the TV does have a coaxial digital audio output if I should choose to hook the TV up to a sound system. However, the picture quality is quite an improvement over my 32" LCD and I couldn't be happier. Three HDMI inputs and the setup was a breeze! Even programmed my Dish Network DVR remote with the television with ease. I would easily recommend this television to anyone looking for a great deal on an LCD this Christmas season. I tried researching the model prior to purchase and found nothing, not even on Hiteker's website. The TV isn't even branded! There is no Hiteker logo or emblem or anything around the bezel. However, don't let that fool you! Given the lack of info regarding the TV, it's best to go with the extended warranty. However, I'd gladly purchase this television again without hesitation! Amazon is top notch this holiday season!

Update: Almost a year later and this is still one of the best purchases I've ever made. Use it daily for hours at a time and works like charm! The picture quality is fantastic! Have had 0 issues and would recommend this brand to anyone!

Took a chance buying this tv. It wasn't a "top" brand, there were no reviews when I ordered it, and it was a 37" for less than $250. Sounds too good to be true, well, it isn't. Finally received it today (bravo Amazon for the super fast shipping, less than 3 days) and immediately set it up and hooked it to a bluray player. The picture was great, the sound was great and the complete look for the product was great. One thing that stopped me from giving it a 5/5 was the stand. It's kind of wobbly, so I'll probably wall mount this very soon. But if I could give partial star points, as of the moment, it's a 4.5/5. We'll see how it is weeks from now, but I'm definitely considering another one for another room.

Very nice picture and built very well! Stand is made out of plastic and I was skeptical at how sturdy it would be but after installation it stands up and doesn't wobble! Sounds is a bit iffy but after playing with the sound settings I was able to balance it out and get it to sound decent. But for $219 who really can complain

I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother who has been watching and old 27in. TV. She's a shut-in and has never seen digital HD TV. This little beauty made her so happy, I thought she was going to cry. I wasn't sure about buying a brand I wasn't familiar with but it had good reviews and now I see why. The best "bang for the buck" I've seen in a long time...great price, high quality.

As always with Amazon Prime, it got here quickly and in good condition.

Wasn't aware you couldn't post links to youtube. Look for Hiteker 37 on youtube by Super Suave. I posted a video that's 11:37.

So, i really bit the bullet on buying this TV. There was only one review for this specific model, and very little info on this brand. I figured $220 for a 37" TV, why not give it a shot? The TV is great, and I really haven't had any problems as of yet(granted I did buy this only a few days ago).
Let's see here, not entirely sure what to say.
It's a very simple looking unit. Surprisingly, it doesn't have a logo on the front bezel like my samsung did, or really any other brand, but I really like that.
The display is really bright and crisp looking, contrast wise it seems to be very good, no bright spots from the backlighting.
Sound quality, really not all that bad. It works for me in my setting, but it's really easy to hook up a separate system if you want.
Inputs, 3 HDMI, composite, VGA and RCA. Big upgrade from the 1 HDMI port that I had on my Samsung.
The menu system is pretty easy to navigate, and setting up for cable was a breeze. I had actually purchased a 32" Westinghouse on Black friday but had to return it, and this TV has the exact same menu system as the Westinghouse did. I found that interesting.
There is only a couple of complaints that I have about the TV. 1: The remote is kind of awkward to hold onto at times. 2: You have to make sure you aim the controller towards the bottom right hand side of the unit to make sure you have control.
Aside from that, it's a really great TV and hope that it continues to perform as it already has. I hope this review helps you out on whether or not this TV is worth the chance.

Hitiker uses Global Warranty Group who in turn uses another 3rd party to repair any TV within warranty. Out of the box this thing is buzzing like crazy, and when I was contacted by ZT Services, they refused to give me even a basic time frame to the month upon which I would have my TV returned to me. No replacement will be given in the stead, and after setting everything up, I am going to be without a TV for any number of days/weeks/months. I was then hung up on after questioning logic like 'We just don't use time, or dates' and I said, 'That's hilarious' -

Great job Hitiker, make a decent TV then skimp on decent customer support when your plasma sounds like it's also powering a small buzz saw out of the back of it.

Feel free to remedy this by actually sending me a real replacement instead of LoJacking my TV for N number of weeks to solve the Pandora of TV repair. But currently guys, pass on this TV and get the 40' Samsung.

You simply don't want to chance these 3rd party repair shops Hitiker is running with.

I got this for my upstairs living room, and have a nice set of piano black finish energy tower speakers, and matching sub. From the time it arrived (free shipping) until I had it mounted on the wall rack and working must have been all of 20 minutes. It took a little while to program all the channels but then it came up great. I went through the preset picture settings, and found mild met my tastes best. The audio out wasn't listed in the manual, but I took a chance and tried the pair under the audio/video in, and they are fixed analog audio out, and I ran that to my Denon AV receiver (which I use for sound anyway). There is a coax digital out as well, and a headphone out (which would work for a variable if you needed that). The onboard speakers are what you would expect, TV speakers, so not bad, but not good. For the quick morning weather on the way out, its fine, but you wouldn't want to live with just them for any serious watching.

The picture is great for my eyes, and I know 120Hz or higher gives a better finish, but my eyes just cant really see the difference. The size was just perfect (between the fireplace and edge of the wall). I wasn't really familiar with the brand, so I did a quick check, and found them (European company, that sources from all over), and they had a 1yr warranty. I purchased the 3yr (10 bucks a year for in home support was too good to pass on), but I doubt I'll ever need it (knocking on wood).

The other thing that just made me think, sometimes things work perfectly. There is a red LED on the front bottom right when it's off, but it turns a nice cobalt blue when on..which happens to match my Energy sub exactly. The finish, shape, picture quality, and features have made this a recommend for a good value HD 1080P TV. The last thing I'll mention, is that the time to on, and until I can change channels is very quick. My Sony 32" XBR (that this replaced, and was moved to my office) took about 15 seconds, this takes about 2. Great buy, enough said.

37 inch and 1080p for 219.00 and free shipping? sold! set-up was a breeze, great picture especially for the price. I read the reviews that said the sound was poor. I hooked up mine to a surround sound system so I can't comment on the sound quality.

Day 1 - Connected the TV HDMI1 to the HDMI on my Dish Network, plugged it in and smiled. Perfect colors, blacks, whites with no dead pixels. No setup or adjustments needed. Bright picture and the sound is exceptional for a low priced TV. I have not tried the over-the-air tuner with rabbit ears.
I would purchase again.
