Wow, "what if" keeps coming to my mind as I read this very well written novel. A very thought provoking and exciting book. I could easily envision the cramped quarters of the U-boat, the stench of humans and old food in a fight to survive. Most excellent. I recommend this to all peace-lovers and war-mongers!
