The difference between the "Reggaeton Hitmakers" package from V.I., and The Beginning package from Machete Music/Ragga Force is the TV advertising. The Reggaeton Hitmakers has some known Artists, but not their hits. The Artists are all from Puerto Rico (some very good Reggaeton Artists come from Puerto Rico). Amazon is selling it for $17.98. "The Beginning" package contains original hits from the original Artists including Alberto Stylee, Nicky Jam, Renato, Gaby (Meneaito), Hector and Tito, and a bunch more- Amazon is selling it for $14.98. It also has new songs from Luz y Jose, and T-Quest. They both have bonus DVD's, but "The Beginning" has 4 great videos directed by Ozzie Forbes (the guy that created the In Your Face TV show in Puerto Rico (The First Puerto Rican Reggaeton Show), and the original Meneaito music video shot way back in 1990 by Big Daddy G. The Artists on Reggaeton Hitmakers are listed above. The Artists on "The Beginning" include:

If you have the money, buy both, and you will have a very nice reggaeton collection. If you need to choose one or the other, I would go with "The Beginning," There is not a bad song in the bunch.

I gave Reggaeton Hitmakers 4 Stars because it is a good package, just not the best.
