What can I say, this is a great trilogy with tons of replay ability. I have previously played all three of these on PS2 and it was a great experience. It is fun to customize the guns and there are so many different ways to play these games. In my opinion, it is a fantastic deal. Go balls out, guns blazing or be the silent assassin and get the highest score possible. Heck, why not go around strangling everyone and store the huge heap of bodies in a small closet. xD I would rate Silent Assassin 4 Stars,Contracts 4 1/2 and Blood Money, hands down,is worth 5 stars. This HD edition comes with all 3 games plus bonus content, I would give this trilogy 2 thumbs, way up! If your looking for 3 fun games to replay over and over again along with a great storyline, then you have found the right game trilogy. My suggestion is to BUY IT NOW! BTW, this is my first review, so take it easy on me :D

Hitman HD Trilogy includes Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money. Silent Assassin and Contracts share the first disc and the same set of achievements, they are split evenly and are very similar (get your first kill, collect all pistols, collect all shotguns, beat the game on this difficulty, etc.) Hitman: Blood Money is the second disc in this collection and uses the same achievements as its original release on the Xbox 360 (so if you've played it before, you've already got some or all of the achievements.) It's not a complete graphical overhaul, but it is upgraded for HDTVs. The graphics are outdated on all of the games, but they still get the job done and don't hurt the game in any way, in my opinion; you should know what you're getting into, these aren't new games. The controls are very similar to what I remember. And I didn't run into any serious bugs or glitches. (I will update if I do.)

I won't go deep into the stories of the games, but I will explain the concepts. Basically, you play Agent 47 and conduct several hits, or assassinations, to advance the plot. All of these hits are done in great open-worlds, where you get to chose how to kill your target. If you've played Hitman: Absolution before this, understand that this game is much more open and gives you much more freedom; however, you also don't have "instincts" so it doesn't hold your hand. You have to stalk your target, avoid/track enemies and civilians, and be a master of disguise in order to succeed; or you can rush through the level wiping everyone out with the dozen of weapons at your disposal; it's completely your choice.

I feel like I am reliving my childhood again with these games. The definition is better but the games still hold true to what they were to begin with. Also the product came in great condition with some downloadable content!

This is, hands down, the nicest videogame I have ever purchased. The case that it comes in is a heavy cardboard and has a booklet within. The booklet has different art interpretations of the game as a sort of collector’s bonus. There are two discs; the first has Contracts and Silent Assassin on it, while the second has Blood Money. They have definitely been restored and look great in HD, but the controls are lacking, just like any game of the distant past. Choppy controls might come as a turnoff to someone that is expecting a "new game" and hasn't played Hitman before. Also, it should be noted that the newest installment, Absolution, does not come with this. To understand Absolution fully, though, you should really consider playing these games, but understand it is from a past generation and does not come with the most fluid controls and graphics. I would definitely recommend this title to any collection of videogames.

Having only played Blood Money and Absolution, I was eager to play the classic Hitman games. Needless to say, once I heard about this collection I pre-ordered my copy. For fans of this series I will say that this Premium Edition is a fantastic addition to your collection. The discs are cased in a sleek artbook-style case, featuring abstract interpretations of Agent 47 and his various exploits. And just look at the cover art! It isn't simply an image of the games' previous cases, seemingly Photoshopped together in a hurry. You have an appealing cover.

The games themselves cater to a very specific audience, but that audience will be highly rewarded with this package. New fans of Absolution may be taken aback by these games' hardcore nature, and slower approach. They're arguably very different games from Absolution, which you could shoot your way through fairly easily. Hitman Professional difficulty (As these games should be played!) is no cake-walk, requiring trial and error and expert timing to perform the perfect hit. But man, is it satisfying to take down your targets and escape without a hitch.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the oldest of the bunch, and admittedly, noticeably so. The graphics have certainly aged, and there are some mechanics that are archaic at this point. However, it contains some great hits and is absolutely worth the time. Contracts is the third game, and boasts improved graphics. Though you could still complain, you wouldn't be buying this collection if graphics were an issue! Featuring some of my favorite Hitman hits (Traditions of the Trade and The Wang Fou Incident) Contracts is a must for fans of the series. It received less acclaim than Silent Assassin, but having played them both consecutively I can say that I preferred Contracts.
