This review is from: Hits, Clicks and Misses: The Traffic Exchange Experience (Paperback)
OK so I'm done with my 4 days of rotating nights and have time to make this post. During that time I had a chance to read Clicks, Hits and Misses by Jon Olsen not once but twice.
First I would like to say that prior to this book I had never read a book cover to cover who wasn't written by Dr. Seus. Yes this is a complete compliment. I hate to read!! During my read it brought back alot of old marketing memories. From the beginning of banner navbars to the rise and fall of dailypays. This book covers alot of the early and somewhat current history of TE as we don't know them today. It goes into his reasoning why promoting yourself is just as if not more important then promoting your product. This is well worth the $25 investment if you are serious about promoting yourself online. His message is loud and clear and if you missed it the page before he'll repeat it again and again until you get it. His plan works not only for TEs but for any business or life in general. No I'm not spilling the beans here invest in the book and put what he says into practice. You are guaranteed to succeed in business and in life! Find out why you won't get rich in 3 months off promoting someone else. I do have some issues with some points he makes but he openly admits he's ok with people disagreeing with him. Hopefully as this book is passed around and read we can have some good open discussions here. My only real disappointment with this book is that Jon doesn't come with it to talk about why he thinking that or why he does or doesn't like this. For those of you who don't understand why people around Jon are succeeding and succeeding big this book explains it all. Bravo Mr. Olsen at the very least you have given me a few new tools to arm myself with in the TE industry. Not only as a TE owner but as a surfer as well. Justin Ledvina
