Great arrangements from a real big band, May 10, 2006

The arrangements on this collection, provided by The Al Raymond Orchestra, are true to the originals, featuring a full big band of real musicians (nothing is synthesized). Bobby Burnett, the vocalist on the guide tracks, is surprisingly accurate in his interpretation of Sinatra's timbre and inflections. I have to admit, I found this for $2.99 in the clearance bin at a local book store, so my expectations weren't too lofty. I was very pleasantly surprised.

There never seems to be a problem when I order used stuff. Amazon does a terriffic job keeping high quality vendors. Great Service and timely too.
