I dont know much about Information Society but when I first heard the song 'think' I was hooked, what an amazing song.

I.S were famous in america, not australia so I had no idea.

Years went by and I found out more about them but they were never released in Australia.

Pure Energy and Walking Away totally blew my mind.

I.S are pure dance, pure energy.

So when I found this moderately priced 'Hits' cd I jumped on it and can I say - AMAZING.

The whole cd is full of great dance songs, amazing for a party.

If your looking for the high point of Information Society without too much extras this is the CD for you. This "greatest hits" type of compilation has all the best of the Information Society from back in the day. If you want something more indepth try again.

I'll have to agree with the previous writer, excellent album for an intro to Information Society (I.S.). Although, I've known about them for years, I.S. had a certain ability to not only do the dance genre, but create lyrics and melodies that were just as wonderful... and above all else? through it all, they had a lot of depth that was intertwined with their music and their lyrics. It's nice to enjoy trance, techno, etc... but these guys knew how to make a full song, lyrics and all, no repetitious 5 to 10 word phrases... a full song, with depth, and fun. If you enjoy techno, trance, and today's genre of electronica? you'll love these guys...
