HoMedics DK Technology employs a microphone in the arm cuff to actually listen to your heartbeat like your doctor does when taking a reading. By using both pressure and sound, the BPA-300 is able to measure your blood pressure with the ultimate accuracy.

Best of all, the HoMedics BPA-300 gives you all of these measurements with one-touch operation.

When you take your blood pressure, the HoMedics BPA-300 automatically compares your results with the standards set by the World Health Organization. The monitor also averages the results with your last three readings, giving you an excellent measure of your progress. Each measurement comes with a date and time stamp, and the built-in memory has the capacity for up to 120 readings for up to two individual users.

Comfortable, Secure Fit and Compact Design
A home monitoring system is only as effective and useful as its design. You don't want to have large, bulky monitors filling up your living space or your suitcases when you go on vacation. The HoMedics BPA-300 is about the size of a bedside alarm clock and comes with its own hard-plastic case and vinyl carrying bag for easy transportability. The monitor includes two cuffs that will work with all adults. (One cuff fits adult arms between 9.5 and 14.2 inches in diameter while the second fits adult arms between 13.4 and 18.1 inches in diameter.) Supersize digits make it easy to read the results on the display. The monitor runs on four AAA batteries or with an AC adapter, both of which are included. So I bought this as a gift to myself for Christmas and I think it's great. It's easy to use and the screen is HUGE so the reading is large and very easy to see. I'm not old but it's helpful to have things so simple! It comes with two cuffs too so in case you need a larger size it's already included.
The price is fair and all the features make it better than anything else I researched.

I own the HoMedics BPA-200 already so I bought this for my sister. The microphone in the cuff allows it to listen just like a Dr. to be more accurate. This unit is the most accurate monitor I have seen. Just like my monitor the digit size is easy to read. The large amount of memory is great because my sister takes the unit to her Dr. to review her readings.

I found this cuff *very* hard to put on and get adjusted by myself. It required another person to make this work. The readings I got, even when another helped me use it, were not any more accurate than my wrist blood pressure monitor (which can be used by one person easily.)
