5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!
Remarkably accurate! I have only found two wrist BP monitors which have provided accurate results time and time again. Being a hospice nurse I try to inflict as little discomfort as possible to my patients. This monitor has detected a BP when my arm cuff was unable to do so. 1.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate
After extensive internet research and consultation with a pharmacist, I purchased this blood pressure monitor. It seemed to have the least bad reviews on Amazon. Even though I had been warned that wrist monitors are not as accurate as arm cuffs, I liked the features and packaging of this one. I have always had borderline high BP, and made an appointment with my doctor. I...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product- works well, affordable and reliable!!!, June 29, 2006
This review is from: HoMedics BPW-200 TheraP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
I got this unit as a gift from my boyfriend. High blood pressure runs in my family so I wanted to get a monitor to keep track. I was figuring on getting an arm unit, but when I got this wrist unit I wanted to see how it would work. The whole system is very easy to use and fast. You need to be sitting and resting to take the reading, but is happens quickly and then it stores all the results for you. I didn't think I would really use the memory function but it has come in pretty handy. I can say this was a great gift, something I use a lot, and something that will help me stay healthy.

5.0 out of 5 stars At last- no error messages!, February 6, 2007
This review is from: HoMedics BPW-200 TheraP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
The HoMedics BPW-200 Smart Sense Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor works every time without giving us any frustrating error messages. It's super easy to switch from one user to another and the graphic displays are easy to read and very intuitive for the user(s). Nice appearance, well made, and seems very reliable for accurate blood pressure readings. We are extremely well satisfied and highly recommend the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Completely Convenient & Accurate Blood Pressure Machine for the Home, January 9, 2009
This review is from: HoMedics BPW-200 TheraP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
I did a lot of research before deciding which machine to buy for my family.
Both my husband and I need to take our blood pressure daily, and my cheaper model which was one of the regular machines, although auto, it wasn't very accurate and finally broke. The reviews for this product played a major role on my decision, and I haven't been disappointed. It is more convenient taking the reading at the wrist, that trying to maneuver the arm band. I am extremely pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

Unit fits on the wrist easily. Minimal steps required, which my 84-year old mother appreciates.

My wife and I both use it. We are very pleased with the results it gives us in so little time. Very easy to use and can help us determine how we are doing day to day. It can warn us if there's a problem, and we can get in touch with our health care provider if we have to. It's compact enough that we can take it along on our vacations.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!, August 17, 2009
This review is from: HoMedics BPW-200 TheraP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
My physician recommended that I purchase an at-home blood pressure monitor since my BP was consistently higher at his office (like around 20 points higher!!) than when I randomly took it myself in, say, a drug store.

I did an extensive search comparison, since cost was also an issue, and found this product to be in the middle price range. It was worth every penny. The HoMedic wrist monitor in its case is about the size of a coffee cup, making it so much more handy than dragging out some complicated piece of equipment to get the same result.

I think this compact and accurate item should be a required item in every household. My readings, taken every day at the same time, have been consistent for several weeks now, and ironically my doctor's test is more in range with my own, since I am no longer already panicked whenever I see him just because I'm afraid my blood pressure will be high! That was a Catch-22 situation, if ever there was one!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this product!, September 1, 2008
This review is from: HoMedics BPW-200 TheraP Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)

This wrist blood pressure monitor helps me keep track of my blood pressure. It is also very accurate. I used it before I went to the Doctor's office and it was the same reading. I would recommend to anyone with hypertension to get a monitor and I would also suggest this one.

I purchased this for me and my husband to use if we felt ill; he was on BP meds at the time. It's easy to use and has memory settings for 2 people. I took it to the doctor's office and we compared readings so we're all set to monitor ourselves at home. I like the monitor a lot, easy to use... small and stores easily... gives us some basic information when it may be important.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected, August 23, 2009

Previous reviews were good but lacked somewhat in detail and specific data we preferred. Ordering was easy, delivery was fast, packaging was excellent, and price was better than expected (after reviewing others). After a couple of weeks using product, plus another, higher-priced unit loaned to us, we find that this one is at least as accurate and as easy to use as the borrowed unit. Too, out new unit has a couple of attributes the borrowed one doesn't have. The HoMedics unit is a great buy and is a very valuable addition to our limited collection of gadgetry. Well worth the expenditure of funds and time.
