Wonderful product!,
This review is from: HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager (Health and Beauty)
My husband and I received this as a wedding gift. My husband is in law enforcement and stands on his feet 12 hours a day and I get tired of rubbing his feet! After receiving this massager, I have not had 1 request to massage my husband's feet. He loves this massager. The heat is wonderful and the spinning balls relieve muscle tension and pain in your feet. It would make a wonderful gift and I would buy one again if the current one ever breaks!

You get what you pay for. This thing's not going to grab your feet and do obscene things nor is it feature-laden. Getting certain parts of your feet massaged can be difficult because lacking proper leverage the massager will push your feet around; like when you try to do your heels.
The motor pushing the counter-rotating balls is not very strong and can be easily stopped by the weight of your leg. I'm 6'1, 210lbs. If I put the full weight of my leg through my foot onto the massager, it stops. I'm not talking about pressing, just letting my leg rest so the entire weight focal point is the part of my foot resting on the massager. It's worth the price but keep an eye out for something better.

I like this foot massager, I just which the motor would not go out. I purchased 3 different ones due to this problem. The 1st one I bought was from a local store and within 2 weeks the motor burned out. I took it back. I bought a different one from amazon motor burned out within 1 week. Same thing with the other unit, so I said forget it. I know it has a manufacturers warranty but I did not want to pay the extra cost to ship it and I did not want to continually have to get it serviced. So cut your losses.

Does the trick,
This review is from: HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager (Health and Beauty)
Simple. Didn't want to deal with having to refill water, etc., just wanted some foot rubbin'. I find that sometimes from its motion my feet slide around a little, but I pretty much can usually find a way to make it work to get those hard-to-reach-spots.
*** Following up 4 years later (2009): Am throwing it out now during a routine cleaning having only used it a few times. The product seems fine but I'm not sure who would keep this kind of thing around in one spot. Just big enough it takes up space and is a pain to lug in and out. Guess I don't have a great enough need for it anymore.]

I love this foot massager; the heat option is very soothing. I love a hard foot massage, and this hit's the spot!!!
Few things: Follow the instructions; don't use it for more than 20 min at a time. I did it for an hour the first time and my feet started to hurt. Also, it helps if you wear some kind of socks (but try it both ways). When the feet are naked and the heat is on (they start to feel moist), and for me it just didn't feel right. But with addition of socks, it's perfect. This was a good investment for my tired feet.

Pros: No messy water, inexpensive, does a good job massaging, you can always buy pumice stone attachments separately.
Cons: The rotators move the feet around to much so you have to hold them steady, not very warm Overall: Perfect for me. My priorites were getting a good foot rub without spending a lot of money. I'm using it as we speak. I'm pretty happy with this one. I might get one for my mom now.

Since I have mild neuropathy in my feet my doctor suggested I try a foot massager. It really seemed to be helping when it went kaput. It lasted less than 6 weeks before the motor burned out. I thought I was quite careful not to put too much pressure on the machine when using - but alas it should have been sold as a novelity not a real massager. I may have expected too much for a 40 dollar machine but I was most disappointed.

I'm a student in Chicago and walking around downtown really make my feet tired at the end of the day. I spend 10 minutes on this thing and the aches disappear instantly.
PROS: Affordable. Cheaper than getting a massage at the spa. Very relaxing. CONS: A big machine, not quite portable. Heats up slowly (when in heat mode). Massaging discs too close. TIP: Use this with socks on. Bare feet cause a lot of friction with the rotating plastic surface and is very uncomfortable.

I bought this at Walgreens and brought it home. At first it was a nice treat, especially with heat.
But my problem with it is that your feet slide off. You put your feet on it and the rotators move in a circle and slide your feet off, so you have to use your calf and leg muscles to hold your feet in place over the rotators. Theres no mechanism to hold your feet in place, so you cant relax your feet and legs and just enjoy a good massage.

not good,
This review is from: HoMedics FM-CR Foot Pleaser Foot Massager (Health and Beauty)
I returned this item, as it really didn't have enough power to massage hard enough, as I put more pressure on it, it slowed down, so unless you want a tickle, then this is not the item to purchase.
