I don't usually write reviews, but this ankle brace is so good, I decided to take the time to let anyone debating whether or not to buy this item to go right ahead & buy it - it's terrific.

Pros: .Provides pain prevention and comfort, also during everyday activities and light to medium workouts; .Fast to put on - one velcro flap closes it; .Easy to adjust - just pull the ends tighter for more support; .Flexible & comfortable; .Fits inside shoes.

Cons:none. However, if you are looking for a rigid brace for strong ankle support, or for extreme ankle protection during high impact sports, then this brace is not for you.

If you need an ankle brace to greatly reduce or eliminate ankle pain from a prior injury, prior sprain, arthritis, weak tendons,etc., and you want whip it on for a few hours, or to wear it all day, or all night, or during workouts for comfort,flexibility, and light to medium ankle protection, then this brace is perfect for you :--) .

I broke my right ankle in a motorcycle wreck in 2005. Yes, at 62 I should have had better sense, but it is what it is. At that age, my bones were knitting VERY slowly, and the doctors wanted to do surgery and put pins in my ankle. I asked for alternatives, and they said a LONG TERM healing with ZERO weight on the ankle was the only alternative. I took the alternative, and went MONTHS using crutches and a wheelchair to keep all weight off the ankle. There was a lot of pain during this period, especially at night. That is when I used this ankle wrap the most. It allowed me to get a good nights sleep by relieving the pain without medication - which I hate to take even when I need it.
The ankle is completely healed at this point in time, and I am able to perform vigorous activity without trouble. I credit this ankle wrap for that recovery, and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with ankle problems for both temporary pain relief and for long term healing.

I don't know how this works, but it does. Having suffered from tendonitis for over a year and the pain which results from walking down stairs stretching the tendons, this device has cured it. All the doctors could do was give me pain medication. After wearing this one night while sleeping, I was amazed the next morning, when there was no pain walking down the stairs.
This is not a rigid ankle brace, but wearing it at night while asleep, does the trick for therapy. I am going to order the wrap around for back pain now.
