4.0 out of 5 stars for the price, i really like it
I ordered this leg pillow not expecting much, but i really do like it. I have tried others that went flat or were shapped weird. This one gives support with out being to hard. I am 6 months pregnant and this has done wonders for my hips and knees. I would reccomend this to anyone. I love the removable/washable cover!

1.0 out of 5 stars Unusable for its intended purpose
I purchased this pillow for my wife who has been using a pillow to separate her knees when sleeping. This item seemed to be a good replacement...I was wrong, the foam compacted in a week of use and she is back to using her pillow. I used this item myself to verify this and found that the foam is much, much too soft and needs to be replaced with a firmer material.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She said it took a day or two to get used to it. Also, it feels very hard for the first few minutes until the memory foam warms and contours to your body.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comparing HoMedics and Contour, March 5, 2009
This review is from: HoMedics Ortho Therapy Leg Spacer Support Pillow with Velour Cover (Health and Beauty)
My hubby and I have been using leg pillows for a while and needed new ones. We bought one of these and one of the Contour Memory Foam leg pillows, so here's my two cents comparing the two. This is the one he uses -- he's 5'9" and has some back problems, and while he initially found this pillow big and stiff, he's adjusted and likes it now. I've tried this one once and it was FAR too wide/stiff for me (I'm 5'7" and average build). I'm quite certain that it will last longer than the Contour, though - while I like the Contour, after only a few weeks of use it is already noticably flatter than when I first got it, so in another year or so I'll need a new one. This one seems just as plump as when we got it, though a tad looser now.

Hope the comparison is helpful!

I have spondylolisthesis and degenerative osteoarthritis in my spine, as well as severe OA in most all of my joints. Lately, I've had severe pain in my right hip, that prevented me from sleeping at night, even after cortisone injections. I simply could not find a pain-free position until I tried a pillow between my knees. Using a bulky throw pillow simply didn't cut it, though. I had used one of these leg support pillows years ago, and decided to buy this particular pillow after researching, and reading lots of reviews.

I have had it about a week now, and it has been a blessing. It is just the right size, and stays in place all night. I fall asleep with no pain, becasuse my hip and knee are more properly aligned, relieving the stress on the joints. I could not have gotten a better product for the price, either.

Anyone suffering with this type of pain would welcome having this great little pillow.

5.0 out of 5 stars I feel better now!, January 20, 2008

I have had hip pain on my right side for a couple of years. (Essentially an old back injury causing the muscles to tighten right around the hip joint) It's caused me problems with everything...sleeping, walking, standing, sitting, you name the activity, it hurt and often made me miserable. I found putting a pillow between my knees helped decrease the pain, but it wasn't enough and was tough to keep in place when turning in my sleep. So, I decided to try this knee pillow and after using it for the past month I feel so much better! The muscles have relaxed and the pain is nearly all gone. I noticed a good difference within a couple of weeks. After a month, I'm feeling well enough to be more active again. I really does a great job keeping the spine and hips better aligned while you sleep. The hourglass shape also makes it pretty natural for your legs to grab as you turn from side to side. I've only kicked it out of bed twice so far. The regular old pillow was kicked out far more often. I could wish for it to stay a little stiffer through the night. Your body heat softens it quite a bit, but it still does the job. It may not work for everyone, but it's been great for me and I would highly recommend giving it a try!

I really liked this leg support. My chiropractor told me to sleep with two foam pillows between my knees, but it was so difficult to sleep with those bulky pillows so I ordered this product. It took a couple of days to adjust to using this, but it has been great. It doesn't get in the way when I roll over. It was a good price too. It is just what I needed.

I don't know why companies make these leg spacers of memory foam. In a few minutes, it's packed down to nothing and your knees are touching! I ended up returning this product, as it didn't help my back pain at all or provide adequate support.

I have mild scoliosis and bought this to relieve lower back ache.It is very comfortable to sleep with. I only wish it came with straps so I wouldnt have to keep placing between my legs. Other than that it is great.
