I recently went on a 15 hour flight with this pillow. It was supportive without being a rock, yet firm enough so that my head didn't feel like my neck was the sole support. My mom had another massaging pillow that was as hard as a rock. She "borrowed" my Ortho Therapy pillow and never gave it back for the flight duration (though she did make sure that I carried it off the plane, not her.) It's a pretty comfortable pillow and it'll be going on another flight with me in the future.

This pillow is firm, but not hard. It is exactly what I needed since I have constant neck pain. The material is super soft and not the cheap material I would expect from such a low price. If you have neck pain, this is definately the pillow you want. Most side sleepers will benefit from this because side sleepers tend to have problems with neck pain. I use this during the day sitting in my office chair, so when I lean back it is a comfortable fit. Sometimes I use it when I sleep at night and wake up without neck pain. I like that it is not too soft because it would not give me the support I need if it was. It is not hard, only firm, but after a few weeks it will soften up a little. The material is elegant and high-quality. I would definately pay more money for this pillow, so it is a great value at under $15.00.

I bought this for travel, and it worked well on a couple of recent long flights. It is well made, and the foam is firm enough to provide support. I also use it for relaxing after yoga. Met my expectations.

I have occasional neck pain and I wanted some support for when I'm sitting in my recliner reading or watching TV. This pillow has a fairly soft interior but still provides good support. The exterior is very soft and is removable for washing. It works perfect for what I use it for.

This was a nicely made u-shaped pillow, but the cover was not as soft as I had hoped. Also, it is a relatively "flat" pillow that does not give much support when you fall asleep and your head rests on your shoulder. It would work in a pinch, but there are better products out there for my purposes: airplane travel in economy...

I have a couple of bad discs in my cervical spine, as well as battling lupus and fibromyalgia. That means that I need a high quality cervical pillow and I found that in this pillow. Sturdy and comfortable! Great buy!

I tend to sleep with my head turned to one side or the other and wake up with a stiff neck. Finally found a pillow that will keep my head in place! No more achey neck!!!

This product is not for people who have thick necks. Having the size of the pillow would have been a great help.

The foam does NOT soften with body heat is uncomfortable. I did not return it as I found it useful as a pillow between my knees as I sleep.

I do not recommend this product as a neck pillow.

I get easy headaches when the pressure systems change and it closes my ears, but last month I just had brain surgery. With this being said I am always trying to keep my ears open and it even allows me to lay on my head without closing my ears and it kills the pressure by helping me heal the scar on my head at the same time. I love this thing!!!! If you have any problems with your face, head, or neck, I guarantee it will help you.

The cover is soft, the memory foam is cushy, and I can lie on my back while wearing this as a neck support. It doesn't get too hot or get in the way. I am really happy with it!
