I bought the MIG adapting kit with it and so far have not found the need of putting it on. Wire speed is constant so bead comes out nicely. Flux core spatter is less to other brands I used.Have welded thick material as recomended on instructions with no hassle at all. Even more, works beautifully, almost like other pro MIG Miller and Cebora equipment I have worked with before.
Only comment I have is, If it is flux core ready why does it come with a MIG cover tip instead of a flux core one? By the way, get one as well as the large spool adaptor as I did and save some money on wire and get better results with F-C tip cover.

Not really happy with this little welder so far. They have great customer service though. I have an older 120 Handler and I believe it to be a much better machine than the new 125 handler. The new one is rather noisy on the wire feed and the wire seems to keep getting stuck. I contacted customer service and they quickly sent me a new drive motor because they feel this could be the problem. After I get it changed I will update the review and let you know if fixed the problem.

Bought this for my wife who has been a commercial welder using major tools on huge jobs for years. She's thrilled with it, it's ability and compactness, parts availability, etc, she loves it. She went right to work and had beautiful welds immediately, no screwing around or learning it for someone at her skill level. She says it works perfectly. Seems well built and was well packaged and shipped. I'd spring for the 140 if cost wasn't a factor, but this one up to 1/4 "if you know what you're doing" according to her is great.
It's pretty much a Miller looks like to me, there are Miller PN's listed for the liner and tips and such in the manual even.

My 30 year old welder broke down and was too expensive to repair. I looked at a lot of welders, mostly made in China. This is still an American company with an American factory. The welder works fine for the steel thicknesses listed. My only wish would be for a continuously variable heat control rather than the 4 step switch. But for the dollars spent I am pleased with the results.

First off I am an amateur welder, that is to say I wouldn't weld on the Alaskan pipeline, but I have welded load bearing structures such as rails, supports for motors, and other brackets on large machines and industrial boilers. Let me put your mind at ease if you're on the fence with this welder. It will meet and exceed any expectation you may have. This little powerhouse kicks out enough heat and current to melt almost anything you weld up to quarter inch steel. You will not be disappointed.
