The IronMan 230 is an excellent choice for those looking for higher output amperage and longer duty cycle than what is found on the smaller units. It easily welds mild steel and stainless steel and also easily welds aluminum – just add the optional Hobart DP-3545-20 spool gun and you’re ready to weld aluminum from 18 gauge to 1/2 inch. Each unit is designed and manufactured in Troy, OH USA.
The IronMan 230 delivers 30-250 amps of pure power in a heavy duty cabinet. The arc of the new IronMan 230 is optimized to deliver a flawless weld, making spatter and post-weld cleanup almost non-existent.
The IronMan 230 is easy to setup and use. Like other Hobart MIG welders, it has a detailed owners manual and helpful parameters chart label to assist with unit setup. Add shielding gas and you're ready to MIG weld.
The IronMan 230 is a workhorse. It can be used for fabrication, construction, auto repair, auto body, home use, and rental.
IronMan 230 with 15 ft. 200 amp MIG gun, regulator/flowmeter, 5 ft. gas hose with fitting, primary input power cable with plug, 10 ft. work cable with clamp, . 030/.035 in. dual groove drive roll, owner's manual, 2 plastic cable hangers with mounting hardware, and extra contact tips.
