To be honest, the only reason I ordered *this* cart because it's shipped free from Amazon. Other suppliers wanted $30+ shipping for welding carts.
You get what you pay for with this cart. Although the materials and general construction are acceptable, the hardware that's shipped with this unit is complete trash. The unit came with only one safety chain. If you want to chain the cylinder to both upper and lower brackets you're on your own. The bolts that come with it are not made out of steel. They can't be. I've seen plastics that are harder and more durable. I was using a 1/4 ratchet for assembly and I stripped the threads off of one of the bolts. In the end, you'd be hard pressed to source just the materials for the price of the cart. My plan is to weld the cart together replacing the hokey bolts and add a couple of hooks for cable management (the cart doesn't come with any).

After reading other buyers reviews, I was very mixed about purchasing this cart. After receiving the cart, I was pleased I did... Maybe I got a newer/ improved version based on feedback from others? The gauge thickness with heavier than I expected - more then sufficient. I didn't use the instructions to assemble the unit, for the most part they're much like Ikea's a couple of pictures and some dotted lines... If you're mechanically inclined you can sort it out...Hobart 770187 Universal Cart for Portable Wire Feed WeldersHobart 770187 Universal Cart for Portable Wire Feed Welders

I got this in a Miller welder package deal. What a cheesy piece of junk. It's actually lower quality than I'd expect from Harbor Freight. The nuts and bolts are incredibly cheesy. Stamped and spot welded sheet metal junk. Miller should be ashamed to put their name on this thing. If it were $40, I might be okay with it. $125 is a joke.

Cart is very stable and easy to move. The finish was nice, don't know if the Miller version is any different. One nut was welded on where I could not get bolt through for assembly, but I cut the weld and used nut. Overall happy with cart. Best price I could find!

Parts missing, poor tank retention,

This cart is reasonably well designed and the parts are OK; in my case, and apparently that of others, parts have been missing. In my case it was the rear axle, so I wound up having to fabricate an axle (and I went with some upgraded pneumatic tires I had kicking around), but that turned a ten minute assembly into an afternoon.
The cart is -just- long enough for a Miller Diversion 165, so a larger/longer welder may be too long for this cart. I have a smaller (33cf) tank which is about all you would want for this cart, and they supply only a very dubious twisted-link chain to retain it. I wound up upgrading the tank retention as well. One of the biggest problems is the packaging, I think: it's that "Harbor Freight" style the styrofoam, which is packed pellets and makes a huge mess, never survives the whole trip to your house, and is probably why parts are missing. Overall, a decent platform from which to -begin- a cart. If you happen to luck out and get all the parts it'd be a three star. If they gave you a decent strap or chain system to stop the tank from tipping over, a four.

I bought this cart at the same time I ordered the Hobart Handler 210 MIG welder. Although it was not the cheapest, it has fairly heavy duty wheels and the frame is perfectly sized for the Hobart unit and a 90 ft3 tank. The upward angle of the cart bed keeps the welder at a good angle for visibility and control. The power cord sticks out the back and snakes around the tank. Ventilation is not obstructed.
The quality is adequate and all the parts were in the box, Only one assembly hole had to be re-drilled to make it fit.

I originally picked this welding cart because of the way it looked in the picture. It has a very interesting design. It is very well made and went together with no problems at all. It is bigger than I expected. I have a
Lincoln weldPak 3200HD and it fits on there just fine. I would highly recommend this cart.

SORT OF DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE. BOTTOM SHELF HAD TO BE RE-BENT FOR THE PROPER ANGLE. SOME BOLT HOLES DON'T LINE UP.

I purchased this cart for a Hobart Handler MIG 135 welder. It is a very sturdy cart that is easy to maneuver with the swivel wheels on the front. I am using the mid-sized cylinder with it with no trouble. I like the storage shelf underneath for my magnetic welding holders and such. It also points the welder up at a convenient angle so the adjustments are easily reached either standing or sitting. It does not get in the way of opening the side of the welder for wire replacement or adjustments either. I wrap the cables back around the cylinder when done, I guess the only thing that could have been a little better was if it included a better way to store the cables. That is not much of a complaint though, I still give it 5 stars!
