This is a good quality regulator that you can use on any mig setup using argon/co2 blends, or even pure argon for aluminum work. Probably not suitable for 3 way mixes you need to weld stainless in a mig, but I'm not sure.

When in doubt contact the manufacture on its suitability of use with your choice of gas/blends.

Don't really get the 1 star review. This is an "argon" regulator "not an oxygen" regulator. Two different gasses running at different densities and pressures. O2 is highly flammable requiring a specific regulator. 1 star Guy is lucky he didn't kill himself or blow up his house. Modifying it to run O2 is like filling up a gasoline car with diesel fuel then complain your car wont run.

Bought this as a replacement for a damaged regulator on my MIG welder. I would have given this product five stars but the first one I received was defective. It leaked badly on the bottle side of the valve. Seemed like the inlet tube wasn't pressed into the valve body correctly. I tightened it a couple times thinking it was sealed well enough but after spraying it with some 409 I saw where it was leaking from. Amazon was great about immediately replacing it. The new has been working great for over a year now. I am using it with 75/25 Argon/CO2 gas.

This works well and stays where you set it. It dose not creep up at all. I later found the reason why people like the ones with the float thing is you can see it drop when you pull the trigger on the torch. But as all welders know when the gas runs out the welds go to poo.

Works very well considering the price. Hasn't had any problems yet and looking at the build I doubt there will be.

It's a functional regulator at a cut-rate price...however, it seems somewhat flimsy, and I'm not sure how it would hold up to continuous or heavy use. For a home garage weekend warrior like myself, it seems sufficient.

Only other comment I have is that the output line is a barbed connection for a soft hose, and it seems fixed in place. Either that or it takes more force than I was comfortable using to take it off. This probably isn't an issue for many, but if you are like me, you may need to buy/make an adapter to fit your own device.

It shouldn't even get a single star . Went through two defective ones and the best Amazon would do is say sorry and we'll send you a return label.(really poor customer service) I lost $30 bucks worth of c25 because of it as well. Do not buy this item. Get a Victor and save yourself some trouble
