What's in the box does not match the description (but it almost matches the picture). There are no sanding sheets, there are only *tiny* (2"x2") foam backed pads. Again, no sanding *sheets*. No 2"x3" pads. Caveat Emptor.

Micro mesh is great, it is better than normal sandpaper in every way. It cuts faster and more uniformly, can be bent or flexed or even folded without damaging it unlike most sandpaper which can only be bent up to a certain point before the abrasive grit starts to come loose, and if properly cared for it will last a long time. The main concern in caring for it is making sure to use it wet and clean it often. If you use it on paint for instance and don't clean it enough, the heat generated by friction will cause the removed paint to melt in between the grits and it can be very difficult to remove without damaging the mesh.

I love the handi-files included with this set, they are the micro mesh MX files meant for use on metal (they have coarser grit than the regular micro mesh but are otherwise the same). The 2x2 pads included are a little bit small for most uses, it is a better value to buy the 3x6 pads and cut them in half since they are only a few dollars more expensive and you get more than double the amount of micro mesh that way.
