5.0 out of 5 stars Fast, Reliable Boating Fun, No Experience Required
These are much better than any toy boats store RC and that's because these are actually hobby store grade ones which is where I bought them. These do a good job of keeping water out (two turn and screw caps) which is one of the things that separates them from toys. My two kids loved these at a little lake I took them to. Funny thing is it takes just about 45 minutes to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great fun.....
If my husband didn't know how to fix things, I would have had to return these items. My sons love them and they are great fun, but don't do well in a pool. They don't take well to hitting the side of the pool. I'd purchase them again, but only because I know my husband can do maintenance on them

These are much better than any toy boats store RC and that's because these are actually hobby store grade ones which is where I bought them. These do a good job of keeping water out (two turn and screw caps) which is one of the things that separates them from toys. My two kids loved these at a little lake I took them to. Funny thing is it takes just about 45 minutes to charge the battery, but I have another RC boat and it takes 5 hours to charge them but the boats run about the same amount of time which is about 15 minutes. I highly recommend you buy extra battery packs to keep the fun going. Speaking of the batteries, it does come with its own charger and even though some may like and use it as it is, the charger end goes into a car cigeratte lighter. I myself don't want to keep my car's electrical system own for that long so I went on an auction site (you know) and found: "AC to DC POWER ADAPTER CONVERTER CAR TO WALL CHARGER" for just $9.00. This I just plug into my wall outlet and then my Reef Racer 2 charger into that. It's much more convenient to me that way. Also these come in 6 different frequencies and colors so you can have a big party with these. I highly recommend these.

Good review from Glenn Again that I agree with. I got mine and attached a baited fishing hook with a cork and used the boat to carry the line far back under boat docks. What a HOOT!!! Caught fish that rarely see a hook! Also, actually used the boat to fish with. I'm waiting for the BIG one that pulls the boat under!!
