This review is from: Hobo & Tramp Art Carving: An Authentic American Folk Tradition (Paperback)
This book was a very good read, and had great examples of the style of carvings for the Hobo art. I am very interested in learning about this style. I have been to several exhibits of the art style by Adolph Vandertie and found them exciting and interesting. I was glad to get a book that I could have at hand all the time.

The book answered all of my questioins about tramp art and the methods to create it. Would have been nice to have detailed patterns in it but since there is not much out there on the subject, I am glad for what I have learned.
