Book Description

January 7, 1995
During the thirties, the Chicago Blackhawks entered their glory years, taking home the Stanley Cup in 1934 and 1938. Then the Blackhawks fell on hard times. From 1940 to 1958, Chicago was the worst team in the NHL. The sixties brought a resurgence of the Blackhawks and another Stanley Cup in 1961. Over the past three decades, the Blackhawks have established themselves as one of the most consistent teams in the league. Hockey Chicago Style includes a chapter titled "The Immortals, " which talks about the four greatest Blackhawks of all time: Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Glen Hall, and Tony Esposito.

The storied franchise of the Chicago Blackhawks has quite a history. This book really brings home the feel that Chicago and the 'Hawks have brought to the game. A record 28 YEARS in a row this team has made the playoffs, and in 2002 they are the team with the second best record. GO 'HAWKS!
