We have this in our basement and our children love it! We don't have anything but studs and insulation behind it, so if you're going to put it in front of drywall, you may want to protect the wall area behind the goalie. We are updating our lighting around it with cages as our youngest is a "wild" shot, but for kids with decent shot control, the lighting change probably wouldn't be necessary. The tarp is very durable and the 5 pockets work well. We have heavy pipe in the bottom of ours, but that's not necessary either.
