Jeff Obermeyer is a 13-year season ticket holder with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. His work has been published in Nostalgia Magazine and he helped produce a series of two-minute radio spots on Seattle hockey history heard on Thunderbirds broadcasts.

My husband is a publisher and I'm a hockey nut so he gave me an advance copy of this book. I never knew how rich the Seattle area was in hockey history. I love the photos and the historical insights the author has managed to find, and his website is just wonderful.

This book is amazing! I picked it up at the Seattle Thunderbirds' Team Store. It is a great overview of the history of hockey in Seattle. Great for nerds like me! I love that Glen Goodall is on the cover, I have very fond memories of him when he played for Seattle.
