About the Author
Emily Leonard, author and mother of three grown children, earned a BS in Education from Kent State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Emory University. As her family was growing up she was active in the leadership role of 4-H, Sunday School, and Cub Scouts while teaching elementary education in public schools. She and her husband enjoyed rural living and managed a few acres of farmland where the children learned to cope with the wonder of things. The old barn, the lively creek, trees to climb, and animals were there for a playground of country life. The beauty of seasons and all else together, have made a great background for her life. Ms. Leonard has traveled to Greece and Israel, as well as through a number of the states. Being an Ohio citizen, her years teaching in Florida added a wealth of excitement for her. Her love for people and Bible lore prompted her to write and make alive the stories within the Bible. Many find the Bible difficult to read so she explains and teaches readers how to self-discover the literature therein. Any curious adult, from the age of 18 to 90, can find their way into biblical stories as they read and journal through her book. Enjoy!
