This product is perfect to be used on mixes for carnivorus plants, its hard to find on the market perlite free of any aditives but this one offers a great price and great quality, I will reorder as soon I need more with no doubt.

I bought this to mix with Sphagnum moss for medium to re-pot some of my carnivorous plants in. My carnivorous plants require nutrient-free medium and would of died if I hadn't noticed that Scott's perlite had some very small font that said "added fertilizer"

This product is well realized in the cultivation of Psylocybin(magic) mushrooms. With some vermiculite and brown rice flour, it is easy to grown your own magic shroomies. About the only other things you need are the starter spores and some half pint canning jars and you will be tripping your brains out in no time.

I used it for plants. Don't eat it. Don't inhale. You'll be fine. No seriously, it's not candy, it's just for plant drainage.

good quality stuff
As far as I know, this product does not contain added fertilizers (important for the carnivorous plant community, among others). I'm pleased.

ANOTHER FINE PRODUCT FROM HOFFMAN:
What can I say? It's perlite. Hoffman's grade is more consistent than some. It is a great addition to a soil mix.
