This shaker does exactly what it's supposed to do, chill drinks quickly. I have never used a shaker before, and like it's use over a blender when called for. Drinks are chilled fast, and the built in strainer keeps them from being diluted. Being stainless it cleans up fast. Best for 1 to 1 1/2 drink recipes. The top is exactly a two ounce jigger. I will buy a bigger 32 oz model for those multiple drink times.

I got this for a birthday present after wanting it for a long time. This one is stylish and easy to use. The chrome stays well polished and the shaker breaks down into three pieces - the bottom disconnecting from the lid and the built in strainer. Some shakers have the strainer built in and cannot be removed. Be wary of that. Over all I am very pleased and I got the ice bucket too. I thought the ice bucket would be bigger. However, it is very little like six inches high and six inches deep, but is perfect for a small group and goes perfectly with this strainer. Hoffritz is one of my new favorite names for barware. Classy, affordable, and durable.

This shaker will bring out the dashing martini or margarita drinker in just about anyone. Looking to impress chicks with your suave mastery of the bar - this will do the trick. Looks great, chills drinks, and of course goes well with cool glassware (invest in Martini glasses or margarita glasses). You don't have to worry about spillage and the built in strainer makes any drink easy. Now if I just had a cool tray to put all of this stuff on. Seriously though, it's a great addition and will make you more likely to tinker with what's in your bar, as opposed to reaching for yet another beer.

I got this thing out of the box and was really impressed with it's looks but the fun stopped there. While I was checking my nice little chrome shaker out I tilted it to the side and the top proceeded to fall off. Worried, I put some ice and a bit of simulated gin (H20) inside, gave it a few shakes and it leaked everywhere. Good thing this wasnt real gin! I dont know if this is just mine but I wasnt impressed with the the functionality. Going with Oneida.

My friend bought a cocktail shaker and it had a tendancy of spilling the drinks. Let me say the strainer was very flawed! This shaker is awesome! Pours the drinks perfect everytime and is very easy to take care of. I would definately recommend this one to anyone!

I purchased this cocktail shaker about two years ago, and have been overwhelmingly pleased with it. The design is beautifully simple and functional, the pieces all fit snugly, and the lid doubles as a 2 oz. measure. This shaker has also proven surprisingly durable; I'm a college student, and as you can imagine this shaker doesn't always receive the most gentle treatment, but after two years and counting it looks nearly as scratch-free as the day I got it. Recommended without reservation.

Not only does this item allow you to make bar quality mixtures it is also great looking. A great piece to have around for parties or intimate evenings.

I don't work in a bar or anything, but I like to mix my drinks and throw cocktail parties. I learnt from books (theres some excellent cocktail books on amazon too).

Anyway a friend of mine purchased one of these as a gift for me and I got to try it out at my last party.

People thought I was a professional bar tender like Tom Cruise in Top Gun. It looks great, shakes well and the drinks come out great.

I am now planning to buy more Hoffritz bar stuff.
