Although it may look like an attractive modern sculpture, the Hoffritz wine bottle topper set actually has an important purpose: it keeps your open bottles of wine fresh while adding flair to any bar or entertaining area. The wooden base is half-moon-shaped and covered with acrylic so it won't rot or stain if placed on a wet bar. Three wine stoppers, each sporting a differently shaped decorative top (a sphere, a cube, and a cone), poke out of the base like spokes. The cone-shaped stoppers, crafted from a heavy zinc alloy, sink comfortably into any wine bottle. A rubber ring around the middle of each stopper fits snugly against the neck of your wine bottle, forming a tight seal. These wine bottle stoppers work wonderfully if you want to pour just one glass of wine with dinner, but want the rest of the bottle to last throughout the week without oxidizing. --Cristina Vaamonde

These winestoppers were much more than I expected when I ordered them. First of all, the woodtops, which match the holder, look very nice on a countertop. Also, I was very pleased with the weight of each stopper. They are not light and flimsy--rather quite heavy and sit very nicely in the bottle. Also, they are not very tall so I can still stand the bottles upright if I choose to refrigerate the wine. I was so tired of trying to squeeze corks back into a partially used bottle--these stoppers are just the ticket. They look nice and work perfectly. I'm going to give a few sets for Christmas gifts!

We have looked all over for something to save those precious wines once opened. The husband is in love with the ease of use - just pop it in the bottle and a slight pressure makes a tight seal. VERY SEXY LOOKING! The price for 3 of these is a bargain. [....]

Lets face it, wine drinkers tend to be a bit on the snobby side (well, as long as they aren't NightTrain drinkers). Many wine-stoppers are just too darn plasticy for such a market. These, on the other hand, are very very nice. These are esthetically appealing as well as function. The wood is beautiful, and they have a very nice hefty feel. Makes a great gift!
