Received my set about a week ago and I am very disappointed. One of the pot was dent. The metal is very thin and looks very cheap. DON'T BUY THIS SET IF YOU WANT A HIGH QUALITY SET. I will return them.

I purchased this item as a "Gold Box Special" for my wife. We had been looking at new pots and pans, but the price was great on these.

These pots and pans have a perfectly flat bottom that heats evenly and well on our glass top stove. The combination of stainless steel wrapped over aluminum heats fast and cools fast. The glass lids have the small vent hole that helps elliminate boil-overs, without sacrificing heat. The silicone wrapped handles are long enough to keep your hand away from the heat, while staying cool to the touch.

All in all a great set that we have been quite happy with. And they look so good she wants me to build a hanging rack to put them on...

Received my set today and Iam very disappointed, I don't write reviews but I have to express my disappointment as to the quality control from the factory. The 8qt stock pot has a big dent in it and two of the other pots and pans have dings on the sides, these are not from shipping. The cover handle tabs are not riveted in the center of the tabs and makes the handles look crooked. I would not have bought these if I saw them in a store. I'm not returning them because they will be used as a backup set and its too much trouble to pack them up and ship them. Advice, pay the $50 more and get a decent set of pots this set is not worth $79.00 and free shipping. My main set is cuisinart.
