Received my set about a week ago and I am very disappointed. One of the pot was dent. The metal is very thin and looks very cheap. DON'T BUY THIS SET IF YOU WANT A HIGH QUALITY SET. I will return them.

I purchased this item as a "Gold Box Special" for my wife. We had been looking at new pots and pans, but the price was great on these.

These pots and pans have a perfectly flat bottom that heats evenly and well on our glass top stove. The combination of stainless steel wrapped over aluminum heats fast and cools fast. The glass lids have the small vent hole that helps elliminate boil-overs, without sacrificing heat. The silicone wrapped handles are long enough to keep your hand away from the heat, while staying cool to the touch.

All in all a great set that we have been quite happy with. And they look so good she wants me to build a hanging rack to put them on...

Received my set today and Iam very disappointed, I don't write reviews but I have to express my disappointment as to the quality control from the factory. The 8qt stock pot has a big dent in it and two of the other pots and pans have dings on the sides, these are not from shipping. The cover handle tabs are not riveted in the center of the tabs and makes the handles look crooked. I would not have bought these if I saw them in a store. I'm not returning them because they will be used as a backup set and its too much trouble to pack them up and ship them. Advice, pay the $50 more and get a decent set of pots this set is not worth $79.00 and free shipping. My main set is cuisinart.

OMG!...what a deal! I got the 12 pc. set, and Its A-1! The quality is the best!...The only thing wrong was with UPS shipping it. one of the lids was bent a little, but for the price, Im living with it! Very good Quality!

So far I have been impressed with this cookware set. I was looking for a nice stainless steel set for everyday cooking (I'm not a professional, "just" a mom of three little ones), and this certainly fits the bill. This set is replacing a mis-matched set of hand-me-downs and T-fal that accumulated in the cupboards. We are trying to get away from the non-stick cookware. I like that this set feels heavy compared to my current cookware, has nice heavy glass lids with vents, and has the soft touch handles on the pots and lids. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for nice, everyday stainless steel cookware.

This product worked out very well for me. I brought it as a gift for my sister and she is extremely pleased with the quality of craftsmanship.

After 10 years of using Circulon, I finally had to give my set a "heave-ho" since the interiors were beginning to chip. Mind you, I used the pots and pans regularly. My mother-in-law (bless her), gave us a set of the Hoffritz as a house warming gift. Approximately a couple of weeks into using the set, I discovered the only two redeeming qualities of this product are the weight and comfort-grip handles. If you're accustomed to using non-stick and expect to receive the same cleanup with Hoffritz, you're sorely mistaken. The first time I made scrambled eggs, the eggs turned out just fine, but the pan was discolored after washing it later. Simply stated, the interior bottoms of the pots and pans appear dirty despite rigorous handwashings.

I wouldn't pay more than $85 for this set and I didn't! I love it and highly recommend this brand. The handles are great and the weight of the pans is very good. I was considering the Metro brand because of the price but so glad I got this set instead because I saw the Metro in Target and the quality is very cheap! Metro pans are so light they could easily get dented and dinged just be routine handling!

I bought this set for a wedding gift. The bride did not receive the $400 Calphalon stainless steel set she requested, so I thought this would be better than nothing! After reading the reviews here, we checked our set over very carefully before giving it to ensure there were no dents, dings, or unevenly riveted handles. We found one very minor indentation on the bottom ridge of a pan, but not noticeable unless you were looking for it, so we felt OK about giving it. The stainless is the same gauge metal as the Calphalon & looks almost identical, so I am thinking this is a good deal, altho' I personally do not like stainless very well because it simply does not stay looking good if you use it much. My thinking is this bride can use the stock pot indefinitely & will end up replacing the other pieces as she becomes better acquainted with the type of cookware she really likes. I now have quite a variety after beginning with a set of Cuisinart enamel 25 yrs ago, but I prefer the dark gray anodized Calphalon because it is so easy to clean & heats up quickly. I have picked up pieces of those off of Amazon at great deals & really like buying my pots & pans like that.

I had been seriously researching/comparing a modest set. I bought these non-Amazon for $100 ($80 with a coupon)and just used several pieces. I couldn't be happier! The set had all the features I wanted: dishwasher safe, vented glass lids, variety of pieces, easy to clean.

The pieces are impressively sturdy and HUGE! Unlike other reviewers, my set had no imperfections and did not stain. I overheated the skillet for scrambled eggs and it still cleaned up easily!
