4.0 out of 5 stars Fun calculator/toy but not durable
My 6 year old son loves math, robots, and calculators so he loves this robot calculator. It's got clever features like a magnet in the back and a little tiny flashlight/nightlight. My son also loves playing with its claws that hold pencils and other small things. However, after 5 minutes with my 3 year old, the arm broke off. Now I know that it isn't meant for small...

1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly made cheap plastic junk.
This calculator is adorable in the package, but leave it in the package. The package is the only place where it belongs as it is apparently much too fragile for actual use. The hands which one would assume from the pictures were designed to grip onto small objects, such as the little miniature LED light included, cannot be opened to actualy insert said object. The hand cracked and fell completely off the arm on my FIRST attempt to insert the light. My child is upset and completely unconvinced that the remaining nub of arm now resembles a ray gun. I rated this toy as a five stars only for it's educational value. The lesson it has taught me...do not buy poorly made cheap plastic junk.

Now I know that it isn't meant for small children, but because it's a cute robot, it's a very tempting toy for toddlers. Overall I recommend it for older kids, who can be more careful with delicate toys.
