Duck Hunt was a fun little distraction, but it left me wishing it had some more depth. Hogan's Alley is definitely the answer to that. It consists of three different game modes that, unlike Duck Hunt, play out differently enough.

The first mode is a simple shooting-gallery-esc interface, in which three standees pop up at once and you gotta shoot down the ones that are holding guns. The second has a bit more to it. The standees now roam around a town, and you must shoot down the baddies to progress forward. The third and final mode is more-or-less unrelated to the other two, as you now have to shoot cans and make them bounce off the gunfire.

All three modes, like any good arcade game, can become fun and addicting, and can even get progressively more difficult as rounds go on.

Its said in two words great classic, hogan's alley is a game on the nintendo entertainment system that uses a light gun. You shoot at cut outs of gangster and cans. The object of the game is to not shoot the regular people who are police officers, lady, and proffessor. dont ask me why they chose those names. anyway this game is a great way to have some classic fun.

I think this game is somewhat based on the old FBI training facility Hogan's Alley, in which new agents are trained to shoot. Cardboard cutouts of civilians and bad guys pop up. You are to shoot the bad guys and spare the civilians. Hogan's Alley is one of the best retro games out there and I highly recommend it to any NES fan!
