Brilliant videos of Hogans Heroes,
By A Customer
This review is from: Hogan's Heroes Triple Pack [VHS] (VHS Tape)
These uncut episodes are absolutely brilliant. The episodes included in this three part volume are: 'The Informer' (pilot episode); 'Kommandant of the year'; 'The Great Impersonation'; 'It takes a thief - sometimes'; 'Hogan Go Home'; and 'Will the real Adolf please stand up?' A 'must' for the dedicated Hogan's Heroes fan.

BEST SHOW EVER,

Hogan's Heroes is one of the best shows ever produced, this set of tapes is definitely a must for any hogan's heroes fan. With these tapes you get a glimpse of the greatest moments for each of the major characters in the show. If you have never seen the show this is a good way to begin your addiction, a warning however... there is no "patch" for THIS addiction.

Untouchable,

It is criminal that the DVDs for Hogan's Heroes have not been produced...perhaps more criminal than the untimely slaughter of Crane himself. There is a plethora of assorted crap and garbage, passing for entertainment, that has been lasered onto DVD. However, the all-time gem remains unsung in the obscurity bin. Brutal.

bob crane (hogan) and his collection of clever misfits run rings around the supposed master race in these 6 episodes from the long running tv series. the cast of characters includes: klink, the self impressed commandant; schultz, the guard who knows nothing; newkirk, the british con artist; lebeau, the french chef; carter, the american naif and kinchloe, the radio/techno guy.these episodes are a good representation of the series (1965-1971). one of the most popular series in its time.

Great for fans or anyone who just enjoys great satire!,

These 6 episodes are truly representative of the absurdly wacky spirit of the show. There are plenty of "I see nothing's," clever standoffs between Klink and Hogan, even a Col. Crittendon appearance to satisfy any devoted viewer. These videos are ideal for fans or anyone who really appreciates great satire.

Although Kinchloe(Ivan Dixon)was called by Ivan as you said, that was in only one episode that I can remember and he was called James in the others. It was probably a mistake (forgetfulness?) since they only said Ivan once. Also, they have used names of others on the show in real life for this; ie: (Robert E.) Hogan. (I haven't seen this in a long time since they stopped re-runs in my area, but I remember this well. It may not be accurate but it most likely is since Hogan's Heroes is a favorite show of mine.)
