Simply Amazing!, October 14, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Air Hogs RC Zero Gravity Wall Climber- Camouflage (27 Mhz) (Toy)
I was skeptical when my son asked for this toy. I was sure that it would leave sticky marks on my walls or use magnets or some other trick to climb on the wall. Not at all, it uses some amazing vacuum thing and doesn't leave a mark. It's actually quite incredible to watch. Parents should know that if all their walls have grounding or trim, kids will want to tape the ramp that come with it to the floor or the wall to work best, but again, It is quite amazing. My son drives it up doors and other area without trim. It actually seems to get better after several charges too, I'm not sure why, but it works better now, than it did when we first got it. Great toy, amazing technology, well done!

Most kid's won't play long with a toy with this many "variables", November 16, 2005
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars

First note: that, if you have a very flat surface (wall) and charge it completely and keep the wheels clean, and have room to drive around pictures and doors. You will be very, very happy with this toy. Completely awesome....No marks on walls.
So why did I rate it 1 star? Because KIDS
There are A LOT of variables that have to be in place, and a lot of no-no's that can make this toy a real bummer. Kid's don't want to have to think about the different variables, they want to grab the toy and drive it everywhere! Smallest of problems, continuoulsy happening, and they will stop playing with it. It will be one of those toys that sits on the shelf for enjoyment once in a blue moon. Because it is really cool, when it works.
So, take a carefull look at your house. What kind of carpet, baseboards, and doors? Need to be smooth. Then consider how much furniture there is against the walls and space around doors, window, pictures, etc. for driving.
And know your kids: Will they take into consideration the variables and how easily do they get frustrated?
Kid's will want to drive this on the walls. If you interupt the suction, the car will fall or slide down. And it won't be an all terrain vehicle when on the floor.
Better to get an R/C that is for off road and they can ride it over the couch cushions, toys, and other obsticles, maybe not up walls...but they have more fun and less issues and will play with it much more.

Great Toy! Porsche guys like it!, November 12, 2005
This review is from: Air Hogs RC Zero Gravity Wall Climber- Camouflage (27 Mhz) (Toy)
My son saw the TV add for this toy several weeks ago and I went and bought it at a local retailer for him for Chrirstmas. (My wife and I do not like to wait to the last minute). I was looking around online yesterday and came across the reviews of the toy on Toys R Us and was a little concerned about the review posted saying that the toy was a failure. That is the last thing I need on Christmas day! So I took it to work with me this morning to see if there is any problems. (I work at a local Porsche Garage) After a complete charging the toy worked great! Like everyone says the flatter the surface the better. All the guys at the shop were very impressed with the design and engineering that went into creating this toy. That hard part was getting it away from the guys so it would not be all scratched up before I could give it to my son. So, I am glad I tested the toy in advance and it seems to work great, I am glad I bought it I am sure it will be a hit. And, no it did not mark up the walls.
