Myself being a new owner of a Ruger P95, even though I love my pistol, found the factory grip a little lacking. A good friend of mine has a Ruger P94 equipped with this grip, and recommended that I purchase one of the Hogue slip-on grips to improve the traction of my pistol. Well, to say that I am impressed, would be an understatement. From the moment I "slipped" the grip on my pistol ( I found a little patience and a sturdy, non-sharp object, like a spoon handle was the remedy to apply this grip.) and trimmed up the little bit of overhang with a sharp pair of scissors, noticed the difference immediately. The palm swells and finger grooves add so much more grip and comfort, it was almost hard to believe that I was holding the same pistol!! I don't know how some people keep polymer frame pistols stock, without adding something as cheap, simple and ever so effective as the Hogue Handall grip to their fire arm! This makes all the difference in my confidence with drawing the weapon from it's holster, practicing self-defense drills and even shooting! Like I said before, this is a must-have if you're looking for a cheap, simple amazing solution to factory grips on your pistol! A++ to Hogue!

I bought these for two of my glocks - a full size 31, and a subcompact 26. The 26 is sometimes used for legal concealed carry. Installing them wasn't too difficult - I heated them up in boiling water, then slide over the grips. The G26 grip required some trimming with a razor blade, but this was expected (in fact I think it even says as much on the box) and was simple enough to do.

The grip is pretty comfortable - not a huge improvement, but it does add a bit of cushion to the otherwise hard plastic glock grip. However, this slight improvement in comfort comes with two unacceptable costs:

1) An increase in grip thickness - these babies are pretty fat for just a grip cover.

2) If you use this for IWB carry, your shirt WILL ride up on the tacky grip material. I tried it with several different shirts (different materials), all with the same result - put the gun in a quality IWB holster, and after only a few minutes of walking around the shirt slowly creeps up to reveal your gun to the entire gun-fearing world. Luckily I tried these at home before going out into public. I've talked to a number of others who have tried these grips, and they all had the same problems, so this isn't just me.

I ended up taking them off both of my glocks (even the 31, which I don't carry concealed, simply because it just wasn't that comfortable to justify the increase in grip thickness).

There are better options out there - either suck it up and get used to the stock grip, or use thinner and better options such as the various grip tapes available.

this is a great grip, i got it for my ruger p95 and the fit is incredible. i took long to be delivered because of the 3-4 day processing but it was worth the waiting.

Just installed the Hogue Handall Universal on my Kel-Tec Sub 2000/Glock 17 grip. Some people may require trimming on the very bottom of the grip because there is a very small gap between the back of the bottom of the grip and the Hogue sleeve. But it is so small that I don't find it to be a problem in the least bit. Recommended for Kel-Tec Sub 2000!

It took me a while to get this sleeve slid onto the grip of my Hi-Point .45, but once it was on there, it fit like a glove and felt very good. In my case, it required no trimming at all. If you're familiar with the Hi-Point, it doesn't exactly have the best grips on it. With the sleeve, it made the gun feel much more comfortable and secure. I have no doubt that this will greatly improve the grip on the gun when hands are wet or sweaty.

Having recently purchased a Glock 17 Gen 4 I was looking for something to help ease the aggressive texture on the grip. Looking on Amazon I came across the Hogue grip. I was a little concerned purchasing this item even though it was indicated that it would fit my gun. Was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Not only did it fit perfectly, it was easy to install on the grip. I didn't have to place it in hot water to soften. I just slid it slowly on the grip and within 4 minutes it was on. The grip gave a whole new comfortable feel to the gun. I was very happy and impressed with my purchase. I would highly recommend this item.

Although its advertised to fit the Ruger Mk 3 22 45 pistol in fact this grip is slightly too large.It does not fit snugly without adding some kind of shim between the original grip and the rubber grip. It also needs to be shortened slightly to avoid lower edge interfering with the magazine. As a general point these grips are quite delicate and will tear easily if you dont handle them very gently while putting them on. I ordered two and ruined one! If you can figure these things out - it does improve the overall grip quite a bit. But its not ideal.

The grip works well, stays in place, and improves ergonomics. The only difficulty was the installation in that it is a tremendously tight fit and takes great effort to slip it on.

I bought this grip for a Hi Point C9 9mm. This grip/review is also applicable for a Hi Point .380 since they are the exact same size I believe.

Once I finally got the grip on my pistol, I had to cut a small "V" shape piece of material off on the back side right under the slide of the weapon (where a hammer would be on a revolver) Without this piece of material trimmed, the grip wouldn't fit evenly and this prevented the magazine from going in all the way.

Even with having to trim this thing, I still have it 5 stars because it makes a Hi Point C9 a joy to shoot. The factory grips on this pistol are TERRIBLE and this slip on grip makes it really nice to handle. It's just the right thickness and I am very impressed with it. The Hi Point C9 is a blowback pistol which means it kicks pretty bad. My hand would get sore after firing about 100-150 rounds, and this grip makes that soreness go away 100%. I just got back from firing 100 rounds and it completely transformed the shooting experience of my gun. It was like I wrapped a sponge around the grip, it helped that much.

5/5 stars! It wouldn't get any better unless the grip was custom made for a specific pistol. For a universal fit, you can't ask for more!

I happened to run across this item on a Hi-Point 9mm. forum & it sounded like it would be worth trying. Well
I did, and it fits very well. It is made to fit a Glock 9mm, and fits the C-9 very well, no mods needed. Much more comfortable grip with this installed. It is a bear to pull up onto the stock grip, as it should be. Go slow and just follow the info. sheet that comes with it. Well worth the effort, money well spent, in my opinion.
