I couldn't really get a good feeling when I gripped the Sig 232, it felt very uncomfortable, and my shot grouping was not that consistant. Since installing the hogue rubber grips the comfort level is what I had expected, and my shot grouping is the best that it has ever been. I am extremely pleased to have found these grips.

I bought my wife a P232 for her birthday (lucky wife right?). The pistol came with the OEM plastic grips which in my opinion is complete blasphemy when you have the option of using these Hogue grips. After installing the Hogue grips, I gripped the pistol and actually heard a band of Angels singing. It felt T H A T good.

Rubber grip Hogue 3000 for a P230 Sig Sauer are made of a durable type rubber compound exhibiting a very good feel to the palm of your hand. Finger slots in front side of grip face offer a comfortable feeling of control for the firearm when aiming or removing from a holster. Being a bit of a perfectionist I was somewhat displeased with the small opening remaining between the frame of the firearm and the rubber grip. Also the grip was very difficult to seat up around the base of the handle on the firearm.

Regarding the review, overall a nice grip that offers a better quality the the OEM piece, but could still have improvements made to improve the grips. A "good" but not "great" option.

these grips are amazing!! for 20 bucks i was expecting some rubber piece of junk, but after i put these grips on my gun, it feels like it was custom made for my hands. very good product at a reasonable price.

I bought this to replace a scraped up stock grip on my Sig P230. It was simple to change in, fits great and makes this auto much more comfortable and natural to my hand.

I saw these grips, n' I knew that... I just had to have them! They look just like the grips on the Sig Sauer P-232. I have a Sig P-230 (Its actually the same gun, just an earlier model) After I installed the grip, it was like...the difference between night n' day. Wow, its amazing how comfortable they are. Well, being made of rubber instead of being hard plastic will do it too. The Hoque 30000 Rubber Grip for the Sig Sauer will make a huge difference in feeling. I really liked my Sig P232 before the grips and now I'm in love. The grips are comfortable and they really do place your hand in the optimal position. I can grab the gun, bring it up and the sights are lined up every time. I can't comment on recoil since it never bothered me but it is comfortable to shoot. I do wear Lg sized gloves so if you have smaller hands I don't know how they will work for you. The install was easy and I have had no problems whatsoever with the decocking lever. Great fit and finish. I will say this when reusing the screws they stick out more now than the stock grips, aside from detracting a bit from the smooth appearance I have yet to notice them while handing the gun or shooting. IMO, they are more than well worth the $.

You cannot put a price on the safety and comfort of a handgun. Give it a try. If you end up prefering the stock grip, what the heck, for less than $20, how can you lose? Or return it, or your wife, kid, or granny might like it! I began shooting at 14, learning on .45 and .357, which were overpowered and large for me at the time. I felt I had trouble hanging on to a gun with such a big recoil. Grips are a personal choice, but the first time I used after market rubber grips, I was hooked, thinking all handguns should have a rubber grips. I mean I ride motorcycles with rubber grips, not wood or hard plastic grips. ;-) Even on a tiny .380, the Hogue feels perfectly shaped and the finger grooves are perfect for my hand. It almost feels as if I can open my grip on the gun and the gun will stay there! I am no expert, but I have leaned a major factor to hitting your target is to relax the hands. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is the Sig Sauer has the hammer release which must be activated with the right thumb. The hammer release rubs against the grip and adds some friction. A good change would be to engineer the grip such that the hammer release makes contact with the internal plastic grip frame instead of the rubbery grip. I bought from this seller because of selection and price. I'll be coming back for more.

Excellent product. Makes the pistol feel much more secure to handle. Also easier to draw.

The Hogue has improved my grip on my Sig 232, the orginial handle has slick. A great improvement to a very good pistol. Well worth the money.
