This was exactly what I needed to replace the straps on my vintage accordion.
I was lucky to buy to last available set at Amazon, and it is perfect!
Received it very quickly too.

I recently purchased a budget accordion to test the waters and decide if the accordion is really for me. Although it came with straps, I decided to get a nicer set just in case the free ones were junk. I had no idea the Hohner straps would be so comfortable, though.

If you've ever seen those cheesy Dr. Scholl's commercials where people are "gellin" from their gel shoe inserts, you'll understand when I say that's exactly how I felt when I switched from the cheap leather straps to these fantastic spongy-gel straps.

Your practice sessions will be longer and more comfortable with these straps - they're worth every penny.

The straps I had before these were plain leather ones that cut into my shoulders. These Hohner straps are just wonderful. An accordion could weigh a hundred pounds and these straps would make it feel like nothing. Absolutely worth the money.

These Hohner straps have become my favorite amongst the entire field of current offerings. I like them so much that I have ordered several to fit almost all of my accordions. Here's why:

* infinitely adjustable - unlike the typical leather straps, there are no preexisting holes to deal with, only the ability to adjust all lengths perfectly according to the instrument and the wearer.

* they are not susceptible to cracking, separation or tearing. Even after years of use, I can see no signs of deterioration.

* light weight - great for extended concerts or practice sessions.

* easily compressible inside the accordion case - not overly thick or difficult to pack around the instrument.

* universal fit for all accordions - my oldest accordion is a 1930's model, and these straps fit all the hardware of that instrument as well as every other accordion I've tried, whether large or small, light weight or heavy.

Although I still like the tactile sensation and fragrance of high quality leather straps, I find that the Hohner design offers significant advantages often preferred by the serious artist, hobbyist or professional player.

Recently, I purchased a used accordion with amazing leather straps that were clearly made to fit a much bigger person than me. Not being able to adjust the straps to fit me made playing my accordion virtually impossible. So I found these replacement straps on Amazon. I am 5'4" and not at all heavy, and I wasn't sure these Hohner straps would fit me since the product description tells you clearly how big they are, but not how small they will adjust. I was really thrilled to find that they fit me beautifully, and are super comfy besides. They are infinitely adjustable, which means that you can make them fit virtually anyone. Compared to leather straps, they are a great value. I highly recommend them!

I have these straps for all 3 of my accordions. These straps stay put anchoring the accordion so you can play hard and not have to deal with your instrument slipping around. I don't perform with regular leather straps anymore these are so much better.

This is a very good accordion straps. It's made with a kind of rubber material that feels very nice on touch. It's a little bit different then use a leather strap, this one is more flexible and confortable.

I like very much this product, it's very well made like all hohners products. Recommend.

I understand that niche market item like this is supposed to be expensive but still, $45 for these little pieces of plastic belts are way too much. Have a computer bag shoulder belt made of the similar type of plastic material, sticky, light weight, and strong. These belts are non-slippery, period. Looks like they are going to last.

ENGLISH:Well to start off, I currently own a Hohner Panther accordion and these straps fit perfectly! the straps that came with the accordion initially are really cheap in quality. These straps definitely are an improvement & will fit any body (keep in mind I'm a big guy too). Also, the price of the straps was $27 when I purchased them on amazon ( currently $45 :-/) After doing an extensive research on finding good quality accordion straps, I finally settled on these straps and have no regrets. Durable, comfortable, adjustable for broad shoulders or even for kids' shoulders, for men & women, and there Hohner too! Another thing too these straps are not susceptible to cracking after extensive use like leather straps. Hope this helps y'all. Viva la música Norteña y mi San Luis Potosí México!

ESPAÑOL: Por el momento tengo un acordeón Hohner Panther y estas correas le quedaron perfectamente a mi acordeón. Cuando compre el acordeón, las correas que venían estaban bien chafas y bien ajustadas que calaban gacho. Estas correas Hohner la neta si están perronas porque son ajustable (para cualquier tipo de cuerpo de niñ@, mujer y hombre), buena calidad, anda uno a gusto, y baratas a comparación con otras. Cuando yo compre este par de correas, el precio estaba a $27 mas el envió. Espero que les ayude esto. Viva la música Norteña y mi San Luis Potosí!

After researching straps and taking all things into consideration, I bought these. At such a thrifty price, I was assuming that I was going to be getting what I paid for. Actually, they exceeded my expectations. They are so comfortable with the cushion, the straps seem to hug my back. The underside of the straps have some grip, so they stay in place. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend them.
