I keep seeing reviews how some of the less expensive harmonicas are either "Good for Beginners" or "Good for the Money". I would like to say that though this is not one of the higher priced ones, it is a GOOD harmonica, period. I can easily bend my notes, it is clear, and it doesn't come with the one "faulty hole" that many of the lower priced harmonicas have. This is an excellent, quality harmonica.

Good for beginnners, but leaks a lot of air and mine is very difficult to get a good clear draw on 8 and 9.

Maybe I've got a bad one, but not impressed.

Got this for the boyfriend since he never shut up about how he missed his old one. He absolutely adores it. I couldn't resist playing with it before giving it to him; it seemed a wonderful buy.

For the price, it has a really good sound. It nice to practice with for the time being.

it works fine, sounds great and is all in all worth it. you will want to buy a song book or lessons book because most online places either charge pretty high for lessons. or don't give enough information.

I am enjoying this product and I have even learned part of a song. sounds great.

I chose this as my first harmonica, and I got what I paid for. This harmonica broke on the third day. Specifically, the 7th hole would not blow for anything. Don't waste your time. Now I have to get wait and order something else while I was just learning some things. Extremely disappointed.

We got this for our son's girlfriend and she was very excited. Our sone is the musical wizard in the family and was impressed with it too.

as a sesoned player i bought this harmonica because i needed a cheapo and i was feeling impulsive. what i like: the muddy grungy sound of it . what i dont like: rather hard to get a acurate bend (especialy on the three hole), the muddyness really gives it a flat sound aand as mentioned it does have a problem with leaking air. what good for beginers isalmost anything. as a beginer you are stiill finding the "sound" you like the tone and style whatever. im having a really hard time saying good things about this harp but for a beginer without much say so in how the like their harmonica this or my first harmonica : Hohner Blues Band Harmonica-10 Hole, Key of C will do.

I can't believe the Hohner company makes complete junk like this. The only thing this harp is good for is being thrown in the fire. My A harp has been played only a few hours, and it already has three bad holes! If you want to sound like a complete idiot who can't play, then this is the harp for you. Please don't go any lower than the Hohner Blues Harp, and believe me this is WAY lower.

You are never going to be any good blowing into this torture device. It will do an excellent job of annoying your family, and making your dog suicidal, however, so if you like that, get one in every key.
